That means take responsibility for your actions, decisions and choices.

Sure you don’t choose everything that happens to you. But you sure as heck choose how you react to it.

This is a simple sounding concept and a rather huge undertaking. You will find yourself doing this over and over again. Let’s face it, stuff keeps happening to us. So you have to keep choosing your reactions.

Choose wisely.
And own your choices.

We don’t need to know what happens in there.

But know this. This is your life. Happening right now. Little splurges on yourself make your life rock. Make you smile. And smiling is a good thing.

If you’re like me, you have heard this phrase – Just do what you love.

If you’re also like me, there are times in your life, maybe even right now where you have a job that is your ‘equity partner’. It is supporting you while you pursue your bigger dream career.

How can you do what you love if you’re not really loving what you do?

The secret is in finding the contribution piece of that conversation. Think back to when you first started doing what you’re doing now. You were probably pretty happy about it. Now tap into how you contribute. I’m talkin’ emotional and spiritual levels here. Hey, a restaurant dishwasher contributes by giving the customers clean plates to eat from, by making the world a cleaner place and by helping to contribute to their overall dining experience.

What is your contribution that will help you to LOVE what you do.

It’s crucial to dial it in and then guess what? You are suddenly doing what you love and that bigger dream will arrive in unexpected and more fabulous ways than you can imagine.

It’s easy to get caught up in how you feel about how you look on camera. The funny thing is… nobody sees you as critically as you do! When other people connect with you in person, they are reacting and responding to your energy. And that has nothing to do with your age, hair style or anything like that. They respond to how you feel about yourself.

To get yourself comfy on camera, you need to focus outwards. Imagine the person you are talking to. Feel the impact of your message on them and direct your energy towards that!

These two steps will help you start rocking your videos today:

1. Choose to love the way you look! Accept every cell of your being as it is.

2. Film constantly. Film yourself and other people. Pay attention to how others come across when they just let go. (You’ll see this a lot in children.) Note that and utilize it in your own videos!
